Real Property And Investment Holding Companies in Malaysia

Real property and investment holding companies in Malaysia are subject to the Companies Act 1965 and the Companies Commission of Malaysia (CCM) guidelines. These companies are required to comply with the following:

1. They must have a minimum paid-up capital of RM2 million.

2. They must have a minimum of five directors.

3. They must have a company secretary.

4. They must maintain proper accounting records.

5. They must prepare audited financial statements.

6. They must submit an annual return to the CCM.

7. They must hold an annual general meeting.

8. They must appoint an auditor.

9. They must comply with the listing requirements of Bursa Malaysia if they are listed on the stock exchange.
