To Carry On The Business Of Electrical Companies in Malaysia

Electricity in Malaysia is generated, transmitted, and distributed by four different companies. The first company is the Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB), a Malaysian electricity utility company. TNB is responsible for the generation, transmission, and distribution of electricity in Peninsular Malaysia, as well as the planning and development of the electricity sector.

The second company is the Sarawak Energy Berhad (SEB), which is responsible for the generation, transmission, and distribution of electricity in Sarawak. SEB also plays a role in the planning and development of the electricity sector in Sarawak.

The third company is the Sabah Electricity Sdn Bhd (SESB), which is responsible for the generation, transmission, and distribution of electricity in Sabah. SESB also has a role in the planning and development of the electricity sector in Sabah.

The fourth company is the Malaysian Electricity Supply Corporation (MESCO), which is responsible for the generation and distribution of electricity in the Federal Territory of Labuan. MESCO also has a role in the planning and development of the electricity sector in Labuan.
